Little gathering

One of my best friends in Hawaii came to Utah to visit for about two weeks, and we got sometime to meet each other on Monday. She went to Canada BC for her mission, and we haven't seen each other for about 3 years in total. She didn't change a lot, but she said I changed a lot because I'm not single anymore.

I went to meet up her and Nadia at U Mall, Oh My... 三個女人真係會一個墟 we were super super loud, the strangers were stared at us, thinking that we are weirdo. I actually felt embarrassed!!! haha, then we went to my house together for dinner and watched HK drama.  Also, we played the Just dance as well.

If you can understand Chinese, you will find that this video is funny. Poling is teaching how to turn from a double eyelid to a single eyelid as most of the American love the single eyelid.

Time went by really fast, even though it's only a short time gathering, but we were able to catch up a lot to each other. Hope to see you again very soon Poling.

Cut my own hair

I didn't cut my hair for a long time, because I don't trust the hairstylists here. I cut my hair one time from a Korean lady before, it wasn't bad, but still could do it better.

But, I never cut my hair in an American salon since I heard lots of bad experience, and I don't want to regret it cuz hair is pretty important as you all know. I don't know why but it seems like American they dont know how to do the asian hairstyle that has lots of layers. Therefore, this week, I CUT MY OWN HAIR. For me, when I thought of it, it's still plain of crazy. BUT... it was way fun.

I borrowed the sharp scissors from my coworker, and wanted to cut maybe one inch. I'm scared to cut it really short, so I kept asking my husband "Is it too short?". I was super nervous, but I know I can do it.

Finally, see the result, it's not bad I think. It looks shorter in the picture, but in real life, it's still very long. I didn't know cutting your own hair could be that fun. Most important, is free. BUT....Cutting your own hair requires lots of time and patience. REMEMBER... cut less than your think, and take your time.

YAY...

We are going to Hong Kong in Nov. I was too excited yesterday that couldn't fall asleep. We finally bought our tickets. No… is Ezra bought his ticket. We will have different flights. I’ll use my Cx benefit, so I won’t be able to buy the ticket till Oct. But, I bought the domestic flight to LAX already. This is my first time go to HK with Ezra and his fam, feeling very excited. They have to see my other side of my fam since only my parents and sister came to my wedding. 

Yesterday night, I already started thinking what should I eat, and buy in HK. I told him like I need to bring 3 baggages and buy everything in HK. The only thing Ezra worries about is MONEY, so he keeps saying then we need to eat some cheap food. He is indeed a cheap skate. (JK)

Last time I went home was already two years ago, and I supposed to go HK for a business trip last week. Unfortunately, I'm working on my GC, and it is too risky to travel overseas. I hope to get it done by July, so I might still have change to go HK for a business trip for my company. If not, then I will stuck in Provo working or chilling in the Seven Peaks ( cuz we got the pass of all pass). J
